Last Shark Standing Semifinals!
Last Shark Standing is the NSU version of Last Comic Standing where the students will showcase their comedic talents and show how funny they really are through a stand-up routine. The winner will receive a cash prize* and will be compete in the final round on Nov. 5 at Kevin Hart comedy show during homecoming week.
This is YOUR LAST CHANCE to audition to be the first NSU’s Last Shark Standing. If you think you are funny or you know anyone that is funny, feel free to direct them to the Office of Student Activites to sign-up.
First Prize:
$1,000 to final winner AND NOW an additional $1,000 to the NSU group* of the winner’s choice
Second Prize:
$500 to final 2nd-place winner AND NOW an additional $500 to the NSU group* of the winner’s choice
Third Prize:
$250 to final 3rd-place winner AND NOW an additional $250 to the NSU group* of the winner’s choice
Last Audition date: Thursday, Oct. 27
Time: Noon – 1:00 p.m. in the Flight Deck at the Don Taft University Center.
Semifinal competitions will be held Oct. 19 and Oct. 26, both nights at 8 p.m. in the Flight Deck, University Center. For more information and contest rules, call 954-262-7288.
