Recently, the NSU Miami Campus sponsored the Chamber South General Membership Breakfast at the Miami Dadeland Marriott.  President Hanbury and Alberto Carvalho, Superintendent for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) served as keynote speakers presenting on the topic, “Connecting Education and Business”.  Approximately 140 community leaders consisting of chamber members, M-DCPS principals and assistant principals, as well as Lawrence Feldman, Vice Chair for The School Board of Miami-Dade County were in attendance.  This was the largest attendance on record for a Chamber South Membership Breakfast.
