NSU’s Office of Suicide & Violence Prevention Announces Newest Edition of Quarterly Newsletter

NSU’s Office of Suicide & Violence Prevention has published the second issue of their quarterly newsletter. This edition of the informative and engaging newsletter will include topics on the Henderson Student Counseling Center, how to get involved in suicide prevention and who to call in times of crisis.

You may view the newsletters by visiting http://www.nova.edu/suicideprevention/newsletter.html

Staffed by Scott Poland, Ed. D.; Douglas Flemons, Ph.D., Erin Procacci, Ph.D.; Genevieve LaFleur, Psy. D.; and Oren Schwartz, CPS doctoral student, the Suicide and Violence Prevention staff is devoted to creating a safety net at NSU, helping to prevent suicide and violence. The most effective ways to prevent suicide and violence are to know the warning signs, take them seriously, and help the individual access the appropriate resources.
