NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship Alumnus to Present at International Conference

Emmanuel Trenche, M.B.A.

Emmanuel Trenche, M.B.A.

Emmanuel Trenche, a 2011 graduate of NSU’s Huizenga Business School, has been selected to speak at the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals’ (SCIP) International Conference in Orlando, FL, on May 5 – 9.

Trenche is currently vice president of marketing and communications for clearCi, a competitive intelligence software company that helps businesses develop the insight needed to compete in a global and digital environment.

Trenche conceived and trademarked a new concept called Speed to Intelligence, which now helps companies understand how they can compete better and faster in today’s digital era. He will present this methodology during the SCIP conference alongside top executives from Best Buy, Humana, Intel Corporation, and Cisco Systems, Inc.

“There’s so much information out there, but very few people know how to turn it into winning strategies in a reasonable amount of time”, said Trenche. “There are many reasons for that, but the good news is this can change for the better by making slight changes to the way we interact and consume data.”

Recently featured in Techli, an online communication published by the Olin Business School and School of Engineering, in St. Louis, Trenche and his colleagues at clearCi are passionate about changing the way companies interact with the internet to compete better.

During his presentation at SCIP, Trenche will reveal tangible ways top executives can optimize the manner in which digital data is captured, converted into intelligence, and shared across the organization. Trenche believes that ramping up a company’s “Speed to Intelligence” is about having greater situational awareness throughout an organization, including customer service, sales, business development and marketing – not just competitive intelligence. He will also discuss how companies across a wide range of industries can use technology to remain alert and responsive to innovation and market threats.
