NSU’s Emma Wahlstrom Wins 200M Free at Swedish Nationals

Nova Southeastern University senior swimmer, Emma Wahlstrom represented both her home country of Sweden and NSU on the international stage by winning the 200-meter freestyle event at the Swedish Nationals in her hometown of Stockholm this past week.

Wahlstrom, who has already recorded several NCAA provisional qualifying times this season, won the 200-meter free event with a time of 1:58.53, which is just over half a second of her personal best time at 1:58.00. In addition to her win in the 200, she also won the 800-meter free, was part of the 400-meter medley relay team that won gold and won silver and bronze in the 400-meter free and 100-meter backstroke events respectively.
