NSU University School Speech and Debate Team Excels at National Tournament

Congratulations to Jake Wallack and Itiel Wainer who were named National Champions at the National Speech and Debate Tournament! Additionally, NSU University School’s Middle and Upper Schools were both named Schools of Excellence in Speech, signifying that we were one of the top programs at the national tournament. NSU University School is proud of all our students who competed and took home top awards:

Sivan Ben-David – 4th place in Humorous Interpretation
Samantha Boisvert and Max Pinkiert – Double Octofinalist in Public Forum Debate (Top 32 in the country)
Avah Dickinson – Semifinalist in Original Oratory (Top 12 in the country)
Evan Eiglarsh – 2nd place in Humorous Interpretation
Camilla Maionica – Quarterfinalist Dramatic Interpretation (Top 24 in the country)
Simran Rajani — Octofinalist in Original Oratory (top 60)
Faizaan Sadruddin — Quarterfinalist in Original Oratory (top 30)
Faraaz Sadruddin – 3rd place in Storytelling and Semifinalist in Humorous Interpretation (Top 12 in the country)
Caleb Samson and Luke Wong – Octofinalists in Public Forum Debate (Top 16 in the country)
Itiel Wainer — National Champion in World Schools Debate (Itiel was our representative for the district team)
Jake Wallack — National Champion in Humorous Interpretation
Luca Zislin – 2nd place in Congressional Debate
