NSU Tampa Sponsors Evening of Excellence Award
Recently, the Pinellas County Education Foundation held its annual Evening of Excellence. Guests gathered at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg to recognize the achievements of educators in the local community. NSU Tampa partnered with Safety Harbor Middle School as a sponsor of seventh grade civics teacher, Stephanie Martanovic. Ms. Martanovic was presented with the Outstanding Educator People’s Choice/Fan Favorite Award by April Fleming, Assistant Director at NSU Tampa. Martanovic serves on a county-level civics assessment writing team, is her school’s civics team leader and yearbook teacher, and is a mentor to other teachers.
