NSU Researchers Featured in WSVN Story on Fighting Prescription Drug Abuse
WSVN (FOX 7) featured NSU’s interdisciplinary approach to fighting prescription drug abuse. The story included research on tamper-proof medication that is being conducted by NSU’s College of Pharmacy (Hossein Omidian, Ph.D., and David Mastropietro, Ph.D.) and an interview with NSU epidemiologist Jim Hall discussing the opiate abuse in Florida.
