NSU Professor Part of Report on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis That Received International Attention
Nancy Klimas, M.D., professor and director of NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Institute for Neuro Immune Medicine, was part of a select national Institute of Medicine (IOM) committee of experts on chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (MS/FCS). The committee recently developed recommendations identifying ME/CFS as a legitimate disease that needs proper diagnosis and treatment and identified five symptoms to diagnose the disease.
