NSU Law Leads South Florida Schools in Bar Pass Rate; Graduates Join Florida Bar

NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center had the highest pass rate of all five South Florida law schools on the February 2010 Florida Bar Exam and ranked third overall in the state.

In the February exam results, which were released on Apr. 12, NSU law graduates had a passage rate of 82.1 percent, well above the statewide average of 72.2 percent. Of the 11 law schools in the state, only Ava Maria law school, which had one graduate sit for the exam, and Florida State University had a higher pass rate.

NSU also had the highest pass rate of all five South Florida law schools and ranked third overall in the state on the July 2009 Florida Bar Exam.

For the NSU law graduates that passed the February exam, the Law Center held a swearing-in ceremony and reception on Apr. 13 to honor their achievements. The graduates were sworn in to the Florida Bar and also signed the Oath of Admission.
