NSU College of Pharmacy professor Kevin A. Clauson, Pharm.D., was quoted recently in a New York Times article that examined the dangers of energy drinks.
NSU Expert Quoted on CBS 4 about Egypt Unrest
NSU political scientist Dustin Berna, Ph.D., an expert on fundamentalism and terrorism from Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been watching the situation in Egypt unfold. Berna was interviewed by CBS 4 – WFOR’s Ted Scouten on Jan. 31, 2011 on the potential for Islamic fundamentalists to rise in power.
Dental DV Grant Featured in Chicago Tribune
NSU College of Dental Medicine is offering free dental services to victims of domestic violence, who otherwise may not have access to such services. The story was covered in the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Sentinel.

NSU Pediatrician Quoted on Fox National News about Caffeine Consumption
Deborah Mulligan, M.D., executive director of Nova Southeastern University’s Institute for Child Health Policy, was interviewed on national TV by Fox News Studio B anchor Shepherd Smith as a pediatric expert on a story about a recently release study showing that American children are consuming too much caffeine.
