NSU Hosts Cancer Fundraiser

The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) held its second annual Fort Lauderdale Fashion Funds the Cure event in the NSU Don Taft University Center on April 14, 2018 to raise money to support children’s cancer research.

Children had the opportunity to dress up in attire related to their dream job and walk the runway alongside professionals in a related field.

H. Thomas Temple, M.D., a well-respected orthopaedic oncology surgeon and NSU’s senior vice president for translational research and economic development, addressed the audience on the importance of supporting the cause and even joined the children on the runway.

NSU was an event sponsor.
