NSU to Host Open House at Ft Myers SEC, March 7

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will host an Open House on March 7 at its Fort Myers Student Educational Center (SEC).  The Open House, which is free and open to the public, will provide information about the various health, education, business and psychology programs NSU Fort Myers offers, as well as host a guest speaker on the topic of “Prioritization, Design, and Results.”

“The Open House is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to learn about the various bachelor’s, master’s, specialist, and doctoral programs which NSU Fort Myers offers. Also, our guest speaker, Joshua Sky, MA, SPHR, will provide great insight into the importance of motivation and goal setting on the path towards professional growth,” said Kevin Hunter, M.Ed., director of NSU’s Fort Myers SEC.

Since 1982, Joshua A. Sky, MA, SPHR, has served as a trainer, facilitator, educator and organizational leader. He has served as the president of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) where he remains a National Member.  Combining an M.A. in Education with a B.A. in Sociology, Sky has served as both an internal trainer and a contract trainer for a wide range of organizations. In 2010, he was certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Admissions counselors will be on hand answering questions on scholarships, grants, the financial aid process, admission requirements and deadlines.

NSU’s Fort Myers SEC is located at 3650 Colonial Court Fort Myers, Florida 33913. The Open House is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm. For additional information call (239) 274-6070 at nsu-swflorida@nova.edu. To RSVP, visit  http://www.nova.edu/sec/fortmyers/index.html.
