NSU Clinical Psychology Students Participate in Traumatic Brain Injury Retreat

TBI Retreat

In early June, a group of students from NSU’s Center for Psychological Studies, along with professor Angela Waguespack, Ph.D., volunteered for Camp TBi 2014. Camp TBi is a weekend retreat that is designed for survivors of brain injury and their families. The weekend was jam-packed with social events, activities and learning opportunities. Attendees came from various backgrounds – some suffered their TBI as veterans of the Armed Services while others were accident victims or victims of violence. The event is coordinated by the Brian Injury Association of Florida, and was held in Fruitland Park, Florida.
