Congratulations to NSU’s Chief Financial Officer, Alyson Silva, MAC, CPA, who was named CFO of the Year in the Non-Profit category by the South Florida Business Journal at the 2017 CFO Awards. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Hotel, Fort Lauderdale.

As the CFO of Nova Southeastern University, Silva has been focused on advancing the goals outlined in the Vision 2020 Strategic Business Plan as well as enhancing financial operations, analysis and reporting.  She oversaw the financing of the new Center for Collaborative Research (CCR), in furtherance of the University’s strategic plans to grow non-tuition funding via research, and has also led various financial transactions in support of other initiatives and debt service savings.
