NSU Athletics Announces Launch of Lettermen’s Association

Lettermen's Association

Lettermen’s Association

Nova Southeastern University Director of Athletics Michael Mominey announced today the establishment and official launch of the NSU Lettermen’s Association, a membership for all NSU Athletics Alumni.

Established by former student-athletes, the NSU Lettermen’s Association has been designed to help provide an avenue for former NSU student-athletes to maintain, develop and create a network where camaraderie and continued engagement will assist in supporting the department of athletics.

In collaboration with the Athletics Advisory Council, Roberto Barionel (Baseball, ’15), Lauren Boudreau (Rowing, ’13), Samantha Gestido (Soccer, ’16), and Paola Ruiz-Villafane (Volleyball, ’12) have been instrumental in establishing the formalization of the Association bylaws and will be leading the charge in alumni membership, solicitation and participation.

“I am very excited to announce the establishment of a Lettermen’s Association,” Mominey said. “This is yet another example of the initiative our student-athletes, now alumni and alumnae, who are genuinely interested in staying engaged with and support the athletic programs and the university they were once recruited by. Their interest quite simply lies in the continuation of their passion to ensure that the next generations of Shark student-athletes have the same great experiences that they once did.”
