SHARK exhibition at the Museum of Art

SHARK, an exhibition at the Museum of Art ï Fort Lauderdale, Nova Southeastern University takes visitors on a journey through over 70 artists’ perspectives on these fascinating creatures from predator to victim to pop culture icon. The exhibition has been organized by the Museum of Art and curated by acclaimed marine artist and author, Richard Ellis. New Expanded Curriculum at AutoNation Academy of Art and Design

Fort Lauderdale, FL – August 11, 2011 – AutoNation Academy of Art and Design (formerly the Studio School) at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, announces open registration now through September 14 for adults as well as for students in grades 1 through 12. Curriculum-based studio art classes begin the week of September 19 and meet for a 3-hour class once per week during the 10-week session. Applicants can choose from a broad selection of classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, digital photography, graphic design, watercolor, illustration, screen printing, lithography, ceramics, sculpture, and other disciplines.

The Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is pleased to announce that Books & Books, one of the nation’s most well-respected bookstores, has entered into an agreement with Nova Southeastern University to bring noted authors, books and programming to the Museum.
