NSU Aquatics offers American Red Cross Certification Classes

72dpi - red cross lifeguarding - finalNSU Aquatics is offering the following courses to students, faculty, staff and the general public.

CPR/AED/First Aid for Lay Responder

This course provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for breathing emergencies, perform CPR, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive.

  • Wed., April 9 at 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Price:

Students/Faculty/Staff: $70

General Public: $80

Lifeguard Training

This course is designed to teach skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services take over.

Time: 12:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
