Sasidhar Nallapati, Postdoctoral Certificate (’06)

Sasidhar Nallapati, Postdoctoral Certificate (’06), earned his dental degree from the Government Dental College and Hospital in Hyderabad, India, before obtaining postgraduate training in the specialty of endodontics from NSU. After graduation, he established a quality-centered endodontic private practice in Kingston, Jamaica. He also leads the course
for the predoctoral program at the University of the West Indies’ College of Dental Services at the Mona campus in Jamaica and is a member of the board of examiners for the Dental Council of Jamaica.

Nallapati founded Kingston Study Club (KSC), the first club in Jamaica with a mission to promote an interdisciplinary approach to dentistry. KSC organizes continuing education courses for members of the Jamaica Dental Association and brings world-renowned clinicians to the countryNallapati credits NSU for providing him with a platform to establish himself as an educator, a top clinician, and a successful private practitioner. The university also helped him continue his personal mission of improving the quality of endodontic care in Jamaica and the rest of the world.

Nallapati authored several clinical articles in endodontics that were published in both peer-reviewed and clinical journals of seven different countries. He has lectured in 14 countries on various topics related to endodontics and has been invited to speak by many national endodontic societies, including the European Society of Endodontology and the American Association of Endodontists. He is an avid mountain biker, runner, and yoga practitioner, and enjoys nonfiction books and world travel.
