WHY: Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is proud to be the academic home of approximately 1,000 veterans (employees and students) served in the armed forces. Students, employees and alumni who are veterans hold a special place in NSU’s heart. These individuals put service of country ahead of many things. Now that they’ve transitioned back to civilian life, they have made a choice to have NSU be part of their lives, and we couldn’t be more honored. We’re working diligently to be one of the most veteran-friendly universities, not only in Florida, but in the nation.

As a way to honor our active and retired military personnel, NSU is hosting a Veterans Day Celebration. The event will feature the BSO Honor Guard, guest speakers and active and retired military personnel. The event is free and open to the entire South Florida community. After the presentation light refreshments will be served.
