College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Students March for a Mission in D.C.
Nancy Gonzalez, National Security Affairs; Nicole Quint, Ph.D., Conflict Analysis and Resolution; Maria Gaston, National Security Affairs; U.S. Representative Alcee Hastings; CAHSS SGA President Edwina A. Ward, Conflict Analysis and Resolution; U.S. Representative Ted Deutch; Stephanie Hampton Credle, Ph.D., an NSU alumna who lives in Washington, D.C; and Katie Goodroad, College Student Affairs.
About 800,000 people converged on Washington, D.C. for the March for Our Lives rally on Saturday, March 24. Among them were Nova Southeastern University graduate students from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS). Thanks to financial sponsorship from the CAHSS Graduate Student Government Association, the students were able to be a part of history. They also met lots of important people, including U.S. Representatives Alcee Hastings and Ted Deutch.
