Michael Edward Trippett, Ed.D. to Deliver Keynote Address at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education’s Graduate Commencement

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Michael Edward Trippett, Ed.D., will address degree candidates of Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Abraham S. Fischler College of Education at its graduate commencement at the Don Taft University Center on Friday, June 12 at 4 p.m.

Michael Edward Trippett is an educator and businessman from Millersville, Maryland and an alumnus of NSU, graduating with a Doctor of Education degree from what was then known as Nova University in 1976.

Trippett’s career in education spans more than four decades during which he served as a teacher and administrator across all levels and one that he merged with an entrepreneurial vision as the owner of multiple reading and child care centers serving hundreds of children.

A successful real estate investor, Trippett maintains a portfolio of more than 60 residential homes in multiple states and two functional farms. Trippett is also the owner of J.W. Treuth & Sons, a kosher meat processor in Baltimore he purchased in 2014 and one of the largest of its kind on the East Coast. With 120 employees and deals with countless contractors throughout Maryland, J.W. Treuth & Sons serves as an economic driver for Maryland’s agriculture industry.

A devoted family man, Trippett and his wife of 47 years, Judith, have three sons and three grandchildren. In addition, Trippett is also a dedicated philanthropist who actively supports the Wounded Warrior Project, the Special Olympics, various food banks and shelters, and many other charitable organizations.
