Medical School to Host Dengue Clinical Case Management Course – Register by June 4

NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM), the Florida Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are hosting a clinical management course on dengue, a fever that occurs in the tropics.

The free course, which will offer four hours of continuing medical education (CME) credits to participants, will be held on June 12 at the Health Professions Division’s Hull Auditorium, Room 2105. There will be two sessions:  from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The symposium is designed to update the knowledge in epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and management of dengue and dengue hemorrhagic fever cases.
