Mark Templeton and Neal Asbury to Speak at NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship Commencement

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FORT LAUDERDALE/DAVIE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship will host two commencements on June 8. Graduates and guests will have the opportunity to hear from Mark Templeton and Neal Asbury, two distinguished business leaders from the South Florida community.

  • 9:30 a.m. commencement ceremony – Master of Business Administration and Master of International Business Administration. Mark Templeton, co-founder and executive chairperson of 4Sense, Inc., a human motion analytics company, will speak during the commencement. He serves as the director of Equifax, a worldwide information services firm, and Keysight Technologies, a global electronic test and measurement company.Templeton is the former president and CEO of Citrix Systems, Inc., the global software company that he developed into an industry powerhouse. Under his leadership, Citrix grew into a global corporation with annual revenue of more than $3 billion, serving more than 300,000 customers, and employing 10,000 professionals.
  • 2:30 p.m. commencement ceremony for master’s and doctoral degrees from the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship, excluding MBA and MIBA, Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography and College of Engineering and Computing. Guest speaker will be Neal Asbury, CEO of The Legacy Companies, a multinational home appliance and commercial foodservice equipment company.Asbury, who is a serial entrepreneur, has received the President’s E-Star Export Award and the Export Achievement Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce. In 2008, he received the United States National Champion Exporter of the Year Award.

    Neal Asbury

    In addition to his many business achievements, he hosts Neal Asbury’s Made in America, a talk radio show carried by more than 80 affiliates, has published over 400 articles on global trade issues and his advocacy has taken him to address the United Nations at the Commission of Trade and Development.

Tickets to the commencement ceremony are not required but seating is limited and large groups of guests wishing to sit together should arrive early.

Commencement guests will also have the opportunity to view a live telecast of the ceremony via closed circuit television at three on-campus locations. All NSU Commencement ceremonies will also be live-streamed online in real time. Visit the NSU Commencement home page for information and access.

NSU’s Rick Case Arena at the Don Taft University Center provides disabled-accessible parking spaces on each level of the public parking garage. Golf carts will be in operation before and after the ceremony to assist with transportation of special-needs guests from the parking garage to the University Center. Commencement guests using wheelchairs can enter and exit the Rick Case Arena through either the north or east lobbies of the venue.
