Learn New Computer Skills & Get Resume Building Tips at NSU’s Library

Learn new, and enhance existing, digital skills this summer with Computer Camp for Adults classes offered through Aug.18 at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library. All classes are FREE and open to the public, but space is limited so registration is required. All classes also require basic computer skills such as moving the mouse, copy and paste, and typing. The schedule includes:

  • Photo Editing & Flickr – July 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. Learn some simple photo editing tips and upload your finished pieces to the Flickr photo sharing service.
  • Facebook – July 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. Explore one of the top social networking tools on the planet. Reconnect with old friends and discover new ones.
  • YouTube – Aug. 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. You’ve heard of it, you’ve visited it, but have you taken advantage of all that YouTube has to offer?
  • Personalized Resume Writing Resources 101 Sessions – Offered on June 30, July 14, July 16, Aug. 4, Aug. 11, and Aug. 13. Schedule a one-on-one overview with a librarian who will help you discover the many tools available to help you create a successful resume. To schedule an appointment during one of the dates, please call 954-262-4649.
