Law Professor featured on Critical Thinking TV segment: ‘The Intersection of Race and LGBT Issues’

Waymond Hudson interviews Olympia Duhart, J.D.

Waymond Hudson interviews Olympia Duhart, J.D.

Olympia Duhart, J.D., was recently featured on Gay TV ON THE GO! – America’s newest web-based TV station geared toward the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. Host Waymon Hudson tackled what for too long has been seen as a divide in the fight for civil rights and equality: the intersection of Race and LGBT issues.

Constitutional Law Professor Olympia Duhart discusses how race and LGBT issues connect, how lack of visibility for LGBT people of color hurt both their rights and the movement as a whole, and how we combat cynical efforts from opponents of equality to divide minority communities and stop the march towards equal rights.
