Independent Colleges & Universities of Florida Highlight NSU’s First Joint White Coat Ceremony
This past July, NSU greeted its first class of 53 doctors of medicine students. NSU is now one of the only three universities in the U.S. with two medical colleges.
NSU’s first joint white coat ceremony, which welcomed about 300 incoming medical students combined from Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine and Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, was recently featured in Independent Colleges & Universities of Florida. NSU is now the only campus that offers D.O. and M.D. programs in Broward County, marking a milestone in health education for the advancement of our society.
