Halmos Lecture Series Focuses on Antibiotic Use In ICU,
On Tuesday, November 27, the Mathematics Colloquium Series will present Xi Huo, Ph.D.’s lecture, “Modelling the Antibiotic Use in Intensive Care Units”. Hosted by Halmos College’s Department of Mathematics, this lecture will look at treatment mechanisms of switching from empiric antibiotics to alternatives based on laboratory susceptibility test results: aiming to reduce costs and avoid using broad-spectrum antibiotics.
