On Thursday, September 13, Halmos faculty member Mark Jaffe, D.P.M. presented an outreach entitled, “Knowing your baby’s feet” at the Alvin Sherman Library’s “Raise a Reader@Little Minnows Storytime”. During this time Jaffe, along with a graduate student and three undergraduates screened the little feet and taught the parents the “Three-Way Show Test”.

Approximately 15 parents brought 18-20 babies to this event. Undergraduates Vivian Hoang, Shreja Patel, and Yudelka Pagan Zapata along with M2 Osteopathic student Devin Haney worked with this training outreach.  Raise a Reader@Little Minnows Storytime is for children ages 18-36 months with their caregivers.
