TEDx-5

TEDxNSU is an annual event, featuring engaging lectures, videos, visual art, and interactive experiences at Nova Southeastern University under the direction of associate professors Leanne Boucher and W. Matthew Collins. TEDxNSU showcases “ideas worth spreading” from members of our diverse university community.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. NSU is proud to host the seventh annual TEDxNSU event—an engaging day of live presentations by fellow NSU students, faculty, staff, and alumni; along with TED videos, interactive exhibits, and discussion.

 TEDxNSU 2018
Saturday, March 17
Noon–5:00 p.m.

Lunch and refreshments included

NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus

Performance Theatre | Don Taft University Center

This year we explore “THE little THINGS”. Many of life’s big moments are the result of countless smaller moments – some orchestrated, some required, some happenstance, but all important because without the little moments, the big ones might have never happened. This year we reflect on and celebrate life’s smaller moments and elevate them to their (maybe) rightfully lofty status in our personal and professional lives.

This year’s speakers include an undergraduate environmental science major, three medical students, a graduate student in computer science, a law school alumnus, law and business faculty members, and one of our university’s business development specialists. You are sure to be amazed by the amazing people and stories that live within your fellow sharks. Visit the TEDxNSU website to read more about this year’s speakers.

Tickets

The event is open to everyone – not just the NSU community. Tickets are required and the cost of attendance is $20, which includes lunch, snacks, and your daily dose of insight! This fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Click here to apply for your ticket by March 11. Tickets for TEDxNSU are limited to encourage interaction between speakers and attendees so get your ticket before they sell out!

For more information, friend facebook.com/TEDxNSU on Facebook, follow @TEDxNSU on Twitter, or email TEDxNSU@nova.edu. TEDxNSU is co-organized by College of Psychology associate professors Leanne Boucher and W. Matthew Collins.
