GBSA to Host Miami Dolphins Chaplain

The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s Graduate Business Student Association invites you to attend its upcoming events in the month of February, including a power lunch on networking, and two other events.

•    Saturday, Feb. 18: Book Signing with Vernon Shazier, the Miami Dolphins Chaplain & Executive Speech Coach and author of “How to Build a Championship Team” and “The Champion Woman.” Books will be on sale at a discounted rate. The book signing event is hosted by the Huizenga Business School’s GBSA, and will be held in room 3032 of the Carl DeSantis Building.

•    Power Lunch: GBSA will host Joe Pineda, assistant dean of External Affairs at the Huizenga Business School on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. Pineda will speak on the topic of “Career Reflections of a Master Networker.” The luncheon will be held in room 3032 of the Carl DeSantis Building.

•    Wednesday, Feb. 29: The Urban League’s Young Professionals Network and the Huizenga Business School’s GBSA will host a panel, short film, and Q&A session on the topic of “Young & Urban in South Florida”. Support and participation will also be given from the Florida Humanities Council. The event will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Carl DeSantis Building’s Knight Auditorium.
