ESS Informational Summit – Solicitation for Session Topics

Enrollment and Student Services (ESS) is in the process of gearing up for the 4th Annual Informational Summit which will take place in July 2011.  During the last summit, it was suggested that ESS solicit ideas for topics that you would like to see offered at the next event. For your information, last year’s offered topics were:

  • Admission Management Services (AMS)
  • Bursar Services
  • Curriculum, Advising, Program, and Planning (CAPP)
  • Consequences of Failing Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Enrollment Processing Services (EPS)
  • Fee Assessment (introductory and advanced sessions)
  • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
  • Financial Aid Process
  • National Student Clearinghouse
  • Registrar Services
  • Regulatory Updates
  • Return of Title IV Funds
  • Transfer Evaluation Services
  • WebSTAR/SharkLink Navigation

At present, ESS is planning on offering these sessions again. If you would like to see additional sessions conducted, please email esssummit@nova.edu with your ideas no later than Mar. 18.  Please note that ESS can only present on topics that fall under the ESS umbrella including: financial aid, bursar, registrar, Enrollment Processing Services (EPS), Admissions Management Services (AMS), University Call Center, Transfer Evaluation Services (TES), International Students, Health Professions Division Admissions, and One-Stop Shop (OSS).
