Emergency Training on Broward College Central Campus, April 13
If you will be on or near NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/ Davie campus on Fri., April 13 be advised that an emergency training will be taking place nearby on Broward College’s Central Campus.
The school will be conducting a “full-scale mass casualty” drill from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. This is a PRACTICE event so first-responders and others can simulate a coordinated response. As part of this training exercise, passers-by will see a large number of police, fire-rescue, and other emergency vehicles and personnel on site. The drill is intended to look and sound as real as possible. This is a training exercise and not an actual emergency – please do not dial 9-1-1 unless you witness an actual emergency.
