Dance Works to Debut Dazzling Choreography by Students, Professionals, Nov. 8 and 9

The next production in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Performance Series will deliver a display of dance choreographed and performed by NSU students, faculty members, and Dance_OnStageguest artists.

Dance Works blends professional dancers and choreographers with the emerging talents and brightest stars from the NSU Dance ensemble. This year’s production will feature a new contemporary work by guest choreographer Pioneer Winter, titled Inspektor. Dance major Camille Arroyo, who earned the 2013 Black Box Award for Best Student Choreography, will also debut a new quartet.

Additional performances include two works choreographed by Chetachi Egwu, Ph.D., assistant professor at the college, a selection of performance repertory by Elana Lanczi, M.F.A., associate professor at the college, and a presentation by Augusto Soledade Brazzdance company.

Tickets

Dance Works is open to the public, though tickets are required for admission. To purchase tickets, visit the college’s online Box Office. Based on ticket availability the day of the show, NSU students may be admitted for free (valid NSU ID required). Arrive early for the latest ticket availability.
