NSU Hosts the 2013 STUEY Awards
The Division of Student Affairs proudly introduces the 14th Annual Student Life Achievement Award winners (most commonly referred to as the STUEYS). The elbow-to-elbow event, held on April 16 at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center, recognized 28 students, faculty, staff, corporate partners and alumni who have contributed to building a greater sense of community and campus life.
This year’s Masters of Ceremonies, Dashka Gabriel, Adrien Glezil, Jeremy Mathis, Joshua Mathis, and Alex Weiss, did an outstanding job entertaining the audience and hosting the show. The STUEYS featured many surprises like the “NSU Administration Harlem Shake”, “Top 10 Things NSU Students Need to Know,” a “Hairology” and “Bike Cops” video, and a student live jazz band on stage accompanied by musical performances from Adielle Silochan. A VIP Pre-Reception was held at the Carl DeSantis Atrium and a Post-Reception immediately followed the ceremony.
