Computer Sciences School Doctoral Student Promoted at the Medical University of South Carolina

Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) doctoral student, Ragan DuBose-Morris, was recently promoted to faculty status as an Instructor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the Department of Library Science and Informatics.

DuBose-Morris is also the Director of Learning Services with the South Carolina Area Health Education Consortium at MUSC.

As a current doctoral student in the computing technology in education program, DuBose-Morris attributes this recent news to the doctoral coursework and support of GSCIS faculty members Laurie Dringus, Ph.D., Marti Snyder, Ph.D. and Steve Terrell, Ph.D. Her research interests focus on the use of educational technology to provide training for healthcare professionals in rural and underserved areas.
