College of Pharmacy Students and Faculty Visit Tallahassee

College of Pharmacy Students and Faculty Represent NSU at the 9th Annual Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) Florida Pharmacy Legislative Days and Health Fair at the Florida Capital, Mar. 23 - 25.

Twelve student pharmacists and four faculty members from the College of Pharmacy visited Florida’s capitol in Tallahassee to represent NSU and participate in the 9th Annual Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) Florida Pharmacy Legislative Days and Health Fair legislative briefings by FPA advocates from March 23 – 25. Thanks to their participation in staffing the health fair and providing patient care services and screening to over 175 individuals, this year’s event was the most successful ever!  In addition, the NSU College of Pharmacy was granted recognition in the galleries of both the House of Representatives and the Senate as well as the walkway to the FPA in Tallahassee.  In total, there were 150 pharmacy students, 52 pharmacists, and a few pharmacy technicians from throughout Florida in attendance this year who visited with over 35 Florida legislators.
