College of Medicine Professor Offers Lectures and Keynote Speech in Japan

Dr. Nancy Klimas

Nancy Klimas, M.D.

Nancy Klimas, M.D., professor, chair, Department of Clinical Immunology, and director of the NSU Institute for Neuro Immune Medicine (INIM), was invited to lecture at the Japanese Institute for Neuro Science in October.

Klimas also offered a keynote address to a national conference on Neuro-Immune Disease at the University of Tokyo. She spoke on the utility of modeling strategies to identify therapeutic targets in complex medical disorders such as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis or Gulf War Illness.

The NSU  Institute for Neuro Immune Medicine (INIM) is part of the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
