UntitledThere is a revolution going on in health care!  Patients and families are collaborating at every level of service to improve health care delivery, health outcomes and patient, and staff satisfaction. The College of Health Care Sciences, Office of Professional Development is offering The Leadership Institute in collaboration with the Interprofessional Education Committee and The Center for Academic and Professional Excellence (CAPE) Titled “Leading the Way – Incorporating Patient and Family – Centered Care into Interprofessional Practice and Education.” All NSU preceptors, clinical and affiliated faculty were invited to attend.

This seminar will provide participants with the historical and legislative background of patient and family centered care.  Participants will hear how the South Broward Hospital District (Memorial Health System) has embraced Family – Centered Care (PFCC) at all levels of their organization through their partnership with patients and families.
