Cheer on the Sharks & Honor Don Taft at Men’s Basketball Game, Jan. 29
NSU’s Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams will take on Rollins College, Saturday, Jan. 29 in the Arena at NSU’s Don Taft University Center. Come cheer on the Sharks and help them score another victory! Tip off for the Women’s Team is at 2 p.m. and the Men’s Team is at 4 p.m.
The Department of Athletics will be honoring NSU’s University Center namesake, Don Taft, during halftime of the men’s game. Chancellor Ray Ferrero, Director of Athletics Mike Mominey, and Special Olympics athletes will be presenting Don Taft with a gift for his generosity and commitment to the University.
NSU is proud to be the only private university in the nation to house a chapter of Special Olympics, and NSU’s Student-Athletes frequently volunteer with Special Olympics, most recently at the Area 10 Basketball Tournament.
