NSU’s website and hotline will contain information on campus closings, event cancellations and re-openings. We recommend storing the hotline number in your cell phone so it is on-hand when you need it. New information is updated on the hotline and posted on the website as frequently as warranted. Information may also be distributed via email and/or via text messages. In addition, local television, radio and newspapers will be used to reach those do not have access to a telephone or to the Internet.

We also encourage you to review other resources available to you by visiting www.nova.edu/hurricane.

At NSU our first priority is the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors to our campuses. To that end, the university monitors severe weather patterns and storms that may potentially affect our campuses and sites and we have taken a multi-channel approach to keep everyone informed before, during, and after severe weather or a hurricane.

For the latest information on campus closures, please call the NSU Emergency Hotline at 800-256-5065 or visit: www.nova.edu/hurricane.
