Deadline to submit nominations for Provost’s Research & Scholarship Award, Sept. 19
Raymond Ownby (center), M.D., Ph.D., M.B.A., professor and chair of NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, received the 3rd Annual Provost’s Research and Scholarship Award in 2013 and was joined by (left to right) Gary Margules, Sc.D., vice president for research and technology transfer; George L. Provost Ralph Rogers is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the Provost’s Research and Scholarship Award, which will be presented at the annual External Funding Recognition Reception at Grande Oaks Golf Club on October 21, 2014.
The purpose of the award is to recognize an NSU faculty member who has demonstrated significant achievement in support of NSU’s mission to foster scholarship, intellectual inquiry, and academic excellence. Research and scholarship are two of NSU’s core values, and excellence in these areas enhances education, patient care, and public service, and develops superior scholarship. This annual award recognizes distinguished accomplishments in the pursuit of research and scholarly activities across the academic disciplines.

The deadline for nominations is 5:00 p.m., EST, September 19, 2014.
