CAHSS Faculty and Students Present Workshop to Supervisors from the Seminole Tribe of Florida

Neil Katz, Ph.D.

Neil Katz, Ph.D., faculty at NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) and three doctoral students conducted a workshop entitled, “Workplace Mediation as a Supervisory Tool,” on March 14, 2018. The doctoral students, also from the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS), were Nekeisha Bascombe, April Coan, and Jennifer Lawler. Participants were 28 supervisors from the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

Katz teaches courses such as: Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders in Organizational Conflict: A Four Frame Approach.
