Business School Professor and Students Coauthor Winning Papers

Doctoral students Hsiao-Ying Chao and Natcha Limthanakom, from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, teamed up to coauthor an article with their professor, Charles Collver, Ph.D., assistant professor of finance. The paper, titled, “The case for Intra-Regional Style Analysis: Diversification or Rotation?” won the 2010 FMA Asian Investment Management Research Prize at the FMA Asian Conference in Singapore. The prize was sponsored by the CFA Institute, the Research Foundation of the CFA Institute and FMA International.

Limthanakom and Collver also coauthored a paper titled, “Style momentum” which won Best Paper in Investments at the Midwest Finance Conference in Las Vegas earlier this year.
