Business Professor Interviewed on Radio About the ‘Fiscal Cliff’

Albert Williams, Ph.D., was interviewed on a radio show for Majic 102.7 and Lite 101.5  on December 2. He discussed the fiscal cliff and covered different economic scenarios based on what can happen to taxes (government revenues) and government spending.  Williams is optimistic that both the Democrats and the Republicans will work out a compromise so that we do not fall off this proverbial cliff. He further discussed shadow financing (financing not regulated by central banks) and its impact on the global financial environment. It is estimated that the U.S. has over 20 trillion dollars of shadow financing last year.
