AHEC Program Receives $4.5 Million in Funding
NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program, which entered its 30th year of operation on September 2, has received $4.5 million in funding for the 2014-15 project year, making it the second-highest annual funding level in the program’s history. Since its inception, the AHEC Program has received over $84 million in state and federal funding.
