NSU RecPlex Upcoming Events & Activities

We are excited that another academic year has begun and would like to inform you of upcoming events and activities offered through the Office of Campus Recreation!

  • Your NSU RecPlex is open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight on Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Please make sure to bring your NSU SharkCard to gain access.  We kindly ask that you bring a sweat towel with you whenever you are using the facility!  Proper workout attire consists of t-shirt, athletic shorts, and rubber soled shoes (sneakers).

  • Intramural Flag Football League will begin on Monday, September 13.  Register NOW at www.rec.nova.edu.  Cost is $50 per team.  A mandatory captains meeting will be held on September 10 at 6 p.m. Contact Prociuk@nova.edu for more details.
  • NSU Aquatic Center– Daily lap swimming at the new 50 meter competition pool and dive well, Master’s Swimming, and much more! Check on-line at www.nova.edu/nsuaquatics for the most up-to-date schedule. Contact jj728@nova.edu for more details and other aquatic related programs.
  • NSU Tennis Center @ Rolling Hills– the NSU tennis complex is open for recreational play seven days per week!  The courts are home to NSU’s intercollegiate and interscholastic tennis teams as well as instructional tennis opportunities offered through Campus Recreation.  Please visit www.rec.nova.edu for the most up-to-date schedule.  Contact Prociuk@nova.edu for more.
  • Instructional Recreation Opportunities – we offer “how to” classes in golf, tennis, dancing and swimming.  Classes meet once per week for 4 to 6 weeks.  No experience is necessary and we accept NSU students, staff, and their children where appropriate.  Contact Prociuk@nova.edu for details.
