A Celebration of Life Service for NSU’s Faculty Member Tracy Favreau, D.O., May 12

Our hearts continue to mourn the loss of Tracy Favreau, D.O. who passed away last December. As many of you know, Dr. Favreau was an alumna of NSU and a beloved professor at the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2015, Dr. Favreau opened her own private practice in Fort Lauderdale, “Favreau Dermatology & Cosmetic Center.” Many of her dedicated patients were NSU employees.

We are proud of Dr. Favreau’s accomplishments and how she supported the NSU community. The one thing that remained through some trying times for Dr. Favreau was her love for helping people. She was quoted as saying “There is nothing more rewarding to me in this world than helping somebody. I select and carefully train my residents to develop a bedside manner focused on healing. If patients can’t open up and feel comfortable with you, they’re not going to tell you what’s wrong with them.”

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at the First Baptist Church. ((See attached flyer for more information Tracy Favreau Flyer)
