More than 250 NSU Faculty Members and Students receive Chancellor’s Faculty Research and Development Grant

The eleventh annual Chancellor’s Faculty Research and Development Grant ceremony/reception was held in the Don Taft University Center on May 19. Chancellor Ray Ferrero Jr., J.D., announced 32 research projects that were awarded up to $10,000 each for fiscal year 2011, and he recognized the dedication and innovation of the 142 faculty and 109 students who competed this year. The chancellor also commended and thanked the faculty members and Broward County Community Partners who represented the Quality of Life projects submissions. There were six Quality of Life awards given this year. Ferrero thanked them for their contributions and dedication to expanding research at NSU.
