Tampa Campus Hosts Florida Diversity Council

Professor Robert Wagner speaks to the FLDC on “Cultural Diversity in Health Care”.

NSU Tampa hosted the Florida Diversity Council’s (FLDC) Tampa Bay Chapter for their monthly meeting on September 3, 2014. The mission of the FLDC is to enhance appreciation for and understanding of the value of diversity and inclusion. They are committed to transforming workplace communities into environments where people are valued for their uniqueness and differences, and are confident that their contributions matter. The featured speaker was Professor Robert Wagner, chair of NSU’s anesthesiologist assistant program, who spoke on “Cultural Diversity in Health Care”. Racquel Khuri, campus director, also spoke on NSU’s dedication to educating diverse populations as well as the university’s community service and collaboration efforts with various diverse groups, both domestically and internationally.
